Meet Martine, our sustainability expert

Martine rarely gets bored. She always has something to do and a thousand projects on her mind. "I am very curious and love to try things: Going out, running, reading, hiking, cooking...", tells the recently trained sports, relaxation, and circulatory massage therapist. Her friends appreciate her natural, authentic, warm, attentive and direct way of being.
It is no coincidence that in the Oberalp Group she is responsible for social compliance, i.e. monitoring and improving working conditions in the factories and relations with NGOs. She often works with university students dedicated to sustainability in their theses and projects, Martine says.

The team player also takes care of certain upcycling projects. "In addition, I'm in the "Hemp" working group, which wants to push hemp cultivation in South Tyrol to use it in parts of our collection."

What Martine does is not just a job, but rather a vocation: "My job is meaningful and that motivates me, because I know that everyone can contribute to a better world." With this mindset, she also encourages her colleagues to move forward in a sustainable way.
Martine loves challenges and looks for the best solutions even in tricky situations. In doing so, she takes three deep breaths, snaps her fingers and off she goes! While still a student, she was looking for a company that shared her values, paid attention to sustainability and was close to sports. "My dream has come true! The nice thing about the Oberalp Group is that I feel comfortable, that there are no rigid structures and that the employees' opinions are heard," says the sustainability expert enthusiastically.
